Ultra-light weight flywheel 5.5 inch – 6LB

• Supplied as a balanced assembly (bolt on and go).
• Button flywheel CNC machined right here in Mt Maunganui from 4140 chromoly steel. Proven to 12,000+rpm.
• Lowest moment of intertia in a 320mm steel flywheel (only an aluminuim flywheel has a lower MOI)
• Brand new Mazda flex plate with manual ring gear fitted – TIG welded both sides.
• No spokes to crack over time.
• Suits all 13B turbo & Rx8 engines and any rotary (12A, 13B, 20B) running a 13B turbo/Rx8 bell housing (320mm ring gear).
• Suits all 5.5in single and multi plate clutches.
• New Mazda rear counterweights available to suit all engine models. High tensile clutch/flywheel bolt kits available.

–4140 vs 1045 material– 4140 is significantly stronger and has a superior wear rate compared to the more commonly used 1045 material. Subsequently, 4140 has a higher purchase price, hence the reason our flywheels cost a little more than some others.
