Taper bore vs conventional parallel bore: a tapered bore increases airspeed, resulting in higher velocity past the butterfly. This improves throttle response and gives a mid range power increase without giving away any power at the top end. Well suited to street and race engines alike.
This is the standard throttle body used on our high output Peripheral Port engines making well over 300HP at the wheels.
