Recommended for 2 rotor NA circuit racing and any other application where rapid engine response takes priority. Popular in classes where aluminium flywheels are prohibited. We use these behind all our circuit race competition engines.

• Lowest moment of intertia in a 320mm steel flywheel/clutch combo (only an aluminuim flywheel has a lower MOI);

• Clutches stocked in Mazda 22 and 23 spline, Toyota 21 spline, & GM 26 spline.
• Suits all 13B turbo & Rx8 engines and any rotary (12A, 13B, 20B) running a 13B turbo/Rx8 bell housing (320mm ring gear).

–4140 vs 1045 material– 4140 is significantly stronger and has a superior wear rate compared to the more commonly used 1045 material. Subsequently 4140 has a higher purchase price, hence the reason our flywheels cost a little more than some others.
